Here at Citrus Social, we can’t for spring! Especially in Cleveland, spring means everyone stepping out from their cocoons of big jackets and boots to emerge into sun and fun. Spring just feels fresh and you know we love that!
Here are some of our favorite things about spring in Cleveland:
Restaurants and bars seem to open up their patios as soon as possible, and we wouldn’t want it any other way! Some of our favorite patios in town include Momocho, Luxe Kitchen and Lounge, Flour, L’Albatros Brasserie, Hodge’s, and Nuevo Modern Mexican.
Our brand values are results, resilience, respect, and ROSE! So we love relaxing and sipping on a glass of wine after a long day of work. Some of our favorite restaurants have awesome wine specials.. like winesday at Flour (HALF PRICED bottles of wine on Tuesdays!).
Baseball is Back
There’s nothing that says warm weather is coming like the return of Cleveland Indians baseball to the corner of Carnegie and Ontario. The home opener is on Friday, April 6 and we know the excitement of America’s pastime will keep rolling from there!
We can’t wait to freshen up our homes and our yards with fresh florals! But we are also looking forward to exploring all of the bright and beautiful flowers and foliage around Cleveland. While the Cleveland Botanical Garden is warm year-round, we particularly love their Spring Blooms event, with tons of tulips, hyacinths, and narcissus blooms to make you feel springy.
The Emerald Necklace
Because some of us are working moms, work life balance is a big part of our lives. Spring weather allows for more outdoor family fun! Spring in Cleveland means getting back out and enjoying the Cleveland Metroparks trails, parks, ziplining, and Zoo. Biking, hiking, and picnicking season is back!
We’re also excited for the chance for both kids and adults to burn off energy outside! From miniature golf at Swings ‘n Things to riding roller coasters at Memphis Kiddie Park and Cedar Point, it’s the perfect time to get back to outdoor adventure.
We’re kind of tired of our sweaters and boots and jackets, to be honest!
